SHORT-TERM OPERATING RESERVE

This Concept is for a 1800 megawatt energy storage reserve system.

​

The recent failure of the National Grid Reserve Service on Friday 9th August 2019, highlights the unacceptable inconvenience and cost to the Nation of this Event. With proper planning the Event was entirely avoidable!

 

If implemented, the Concept outlined herewith, could prevent Event's such as this ever happening.
